Eligibility Criteria
To apply for Scholarships applicant must be fulfill the following criteria.
- Applicant must know English or Japanese language
- All the nationalities are eligible to apply for Scholarship program
- Applicant not to be Japanese nationality and be a national of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan
- Applicant must be age of minimum 35 years
- Applicant have good academic record
- Applicant have GPA of at least 2.30 on a 3.00 scale
- Recipients must be able to arrive in Japan during the arrival period stipulated by APU
- Applicant can apply for this scholarship cannot be applying for another MEXT scholarship
- Applicant of this scholarship must have student as their status of residence (visa status) in Japan
